AAR just broke in with a broadcast from LA on the air

coming up after the news full report of what happened.

I like Marty Kaplan. At first i thought his show was a waste of time, but he has grown on me.

He is broadcasting from AAR studios in LA and Chicago, but only online. He said he will be there until someone comes in with a gun. Here's what actually happened: Interview text:

Station owner evidently stole money from AAR. He took money from AAR and then accepted money from Spanish radio and pulled AAR from the air. He then reported AAR's check bounced, but it did not. LA station manager said that is an "out and out lie." AAR put a hold on the check until owner settled the matter with AAR about taking money from them. They have filed an injunction. Stations may be back up tomorrow.

We should call the D.A. in L.A.

I am a tad disappointed in AAR.. If we can only get it online, it is kind of self defeating :(..

I had hoped that they would have been able to buy an existing NETWORK, and then change all of the programming to AAR..

They are just strating, so I still have hope.:)

I'm in NC. The only negative effect it has had is that it makes it so much harder for me to watch wingnut cable and listen to the a.m. radio hatemongers while I'm working.

I'm a news junkie, but now that there is sanity, it's hard to take the other crap.

Just remember, it took the wingnuts 20 years to take over the media. I'm in this for the long hard patient haul and I hope everyone is too.
