4. Don't worry. All other commissioners say NO!
He's just another jerk kissing some ass to make points. I doubt his bosses really want something like that to take over the news....way too much other stuff would turn up that they sure don't want out!

5. He's got a decent Dem opponent this year
www.bryankennedyforcongress.com

Disclosure: My husband, Whitacre D_WI here, was originally another candidate for this office. He has withdrawn from the race and has endorsed Kennedy. I have done so as well. Bryan's a good guy, a bit of a populist (reminds me of Edwards -- Edwards won this area) and has some Republicans thinking of crossing over.

6. Can anyone tell me how
Tweety shut him down hard by asking him repreatedly if he or any member of his staff had spoken to the DOJ about his request to have her removed? I must be having an off day to not understand why that shut him up...and hard

7. Tweety wanted to know if rep Senseless was acting as part of
an organized campaign to discredit the 9/11 commission. Did you notice Senseless wouldn't give a yes or no answer to such an easy question.

10. Well Tweety, to give credit where it's due
shut down John Fund yesterday by LAUGHING IN HIS FACE when he said that Kerry and Kennedy are good friends. Tweety knows too much for my taste, unless he uses it against republicans.

9. Sensenbrenner lied about why the CIA didn't tell the FBI
Sensenbrenner lied about why the CIA didn't tell the FBI about the 2 future hijackers illegally in the U.S., until a year after it had that information.

The CIA didn't tell the FBI earlier because the person at the CIA responsible didn't get around to it until shortly before 9/11.

Sessenbrenner said that it was because of a regulation Gorelick wrote. He lied.

11. This is an A$$croft revenge move against Jamie Gorlick.
Did you see A$$croft's sneer and leer when he disclosed her 1995 memo yesterday? Gorlick was hard on A$$croft in her questioning of Condi Rice last Thursday. The thin-skinned bastard can't take the heat, so he dredges up a memo almost 10 years old (a memo written to protect a prosecution of 1993 World Trade center bombers; a memo which was re-endorsed by A$$croft's Deputy AG in early 2001, and; a memo which could have easily been overturned had that been pursued prior to 9/11) and throws it in the face of the 9/11 Commission in his inimitable, churlish style. Sensenbrenner is facilitating A$$croft's revenge. Goddamn, these people are transparent!
