No way in heck is this baffoon gonna get elected in November. Hell, he didn't get elected the first time. It's like we got a free trial....sort of.

Now on to the important stuff. What is Kerry gonna do about Iraq and how is he gonna keep us out of a draft. Do you really trust him? Please convince me, because I am scared.

edit for my punctuation

1. Bush will lose by a landlside
On Meet the Press this weekend, Russert noted that incumbent presidents seeking their second terms either win big (Reagan, Clinton) or lose big (Bush I, Carter). My money is a big loser here for Bush.

I'm not worried about a draft - and I've got a husband and two young sons. I believe the rest of the world will embrace Kerry (since he is not Bush) and I believe that the UN will get on board to help out now that someone reasonable will be in office.

2. Not so sure
Well we can hope, but this administration has proved that it will stop at nothing to get what it wants. Lie, cheat, steal, kill, whatever it takes. When the Shrub was on Meet The Press he said "I'm not going to lose the election" he sounded pretty sure of himself. It's not like they haven't stolen an election before...

3. Polls aside, by my math it don't look good for Chimpy...

He lost by 500,000 votes LAST time. Who that voted against him in 2000 will vote FOR him in 2004??

Plus, now even the military hates him.

Come on! He's toast. Kind of explains why so many Dems were eager to run against him.

10. Who will vote for him?
Well people who believe that we need to "support our president" in times of war and strife for one. People who will be herded into thinking the election is a referendum on fighting "evil" vs. appeasement. There are plenty of them out there, my workplace is filled with them. I live and work in a suburb of Baltimore so it aint exactly the sticks. People still seem willing to cut this idiot some slack. And its all wrapped up in that post 9/11 super-patriot, God save our fearless leader crap.

Overconfidence will kill us, we need to have a huge turn out this Nov.

4. Of course not, but just because
he's not elected doesn't mean he won't serve a second term.

Something about the way he seemed so certain about "not losing his job" in the press conference last night sent chills up my spine. I really think he means it. With Diebold in his corner, I am not confident of a legitmate election this time around either.

6. I agree....
...we need to go to hand cast ballots. Or better still a national internet poll that lets everyone vote at once.:nuke:

7. I'm assuming that Bush doesn't declare martial law,
all of the votes are actually counted, and Kerry isn't abducted by aliens. My landlside prediction is based on "normal" election conditions. But, I too am scared about Bush's comments to Russert and at the Press conference re: I'm not going to lose. The Repubs will do anything - lie, cheat to win. They are horrible horrible people. But I am hopeful that this will strengthen the resolve of the real majority out there to go to the polls and vote. But Bush likes to use his big cowboy words and make declarations that he isn't going to lose, etc.

5. Did you watch 60 Minutes II today? The rapture RW Evangelican Christian
books.
Bush* acts like ONE OF THEM (I don't believe that he actually has enough conviction to believe the stuff)!!!! and these people (30 million and growing) think just like he pretends to think or worse.

If the REALLY believes, we might be lucky and he could get raptured before November?

8. He's will not be experiencing the rapture any time soon
until he gets on his knees and tells the Almighty what he has done to cause the death of thousands of Americans in 911 and Iraq. I think he looked clincally depressed last night. I think he's been hiding out of the ranched curled up in a ball and sobbing. He has got to be racked with guilt or humiliation for the mess he's got the country into. That doesn't mean he will eventually do the right thing. But I think he is starting to hear the voices of those who died. Dramatic sounding eh - but I really think it is getting to him. But Bozo wont' repent. He'll just keep acting all cowboyish and continue to ask his administration to carry his water for him. Please don't let this man be president again.
