Ted Olson on Larry King - berating the 911 commission.
They must really be worried about the commission. The knives are out.

1. I found it hilarious that...
He was complaining about partisanship. This guy was one of the main architects of the the "Arkansas Project."

2. Ted Olsen should be in prison for lyinig to Congress
Olsen lied his ass off about the Arkansas Project when questioned about it at his confirmation hearing. Olsen is a known liar. Olsen also argued for Bush in Bush v Gore before the SCOTUS. Futhermmore, Babs' body wasn't cold after she died on 9/11 before Olsen had a new young blonde babe on his arm.

Olsen is a worthless, no-good POS.

7. Ya know...
I heard someone suggest that Olson was lying about his wife's phone call, and I thought they were obscene. But I checked up, to prove them wrong. What I found was that Olson's story wasn't possible.

He claimed Barbara called him collect from a seatback phone because she didn't have her purse, so she couldn't get her cell phone. I called the airlines. You cannot call collect from those phones. You have to activate them with a credit card.

Maybe in his grief he told the story wrong. Don't know. But what he said wasn't possible.

4. NY Post front page today
"National Disgrace"
"The national 9/11 commission has been hijacked by political shills -- men and women eager to subordinate truth to partisan advantage; who hold a transitory victory on Election Day more dear than American victory in the war on terror."

Yes, the right-wing is getting very nervous. The truth about *'s incompetence prior to 911 is finally reaching the public. * did absolutely nothing to safeguard America prior to 911, despite repeated warnings about Bin Laden.

5. Maybe Barbara Olson would be alive today,
Edited on Wed Apr-14-04 11:44 PM by MikeG
if she didn't spend all of 1998 on cable shows humping the Lewinsky investigation making sure Clinton's attention was diverted from terrorism.

6. One of my first articles at DU...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/articles/02/04/16_vrwc.html

"Olson, a reputable lawyer and former assistant Attorney General, was a board member of the Spectator. When Brock approached him to kill the irresponsible Foster story, Olson refused. The story, Olson explained, raised questions about Foster and Clinton, and "was a way of turning up the heat… until another scandal broke loose." Olson made no bones about his beliefs: he knew Foster's death was a suicide. But journalism was not the mission of the Spectator. Getting Clinton was. At this point, in the last conversation Brock wanted to have with Olson, Brock realized that his magazine was all about propaganda, and none about journalism."

snip

"The Distraction caused by the VRWC and the resulting blindness towards everything Clinton had tried to do finally caught up with America, and with one of the key players. When Bin Laden's terrorists struck the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001, Ted Olson's wife was on the plane."
