Fecal matter flows both ways. I suspect some of the Troops in Iraq
might be doing bad things on purpose in the hopes we tire of this quagmire and they get to come home.

Especially now that Rummy waffles/flip flops again and extends the return home by 3 more months. The Troops must be pissed by this betrayal.

And those 4 guys killed and mutilated just gave the troops license to waste large sections of the town. And so, the pressure to end this thing made Bush come out of Hiding and state his case in a Press Con.

Bad move, he blew it. But did he? The Pub Sheep still worship him. Well, the Pub core that is. Fence sitters now leaning left.

So Bush thought he is in control only to find out just when you thought you won, you find out, NOT. The Troops, disillusioned by Bush's antics, may be finding ways to come home in one piece by ending the War in their own way.

1. Nope, it all rolls downhill. And more than anywhere, in the military.

6. In the home town Fort this is so, down hill. But in the zone perhaps a
bit diff. And maybe the frustration, anguish, fear, exhaustion, etc adds up to actions beyond humane without realizing it.

Like those guys laughing while they slowly kill a wounded enemy as he lay in a street with shots to the legs. Only reason we know is they got caught on video tape. Musta took gas for that.

2. Sisyphus
kinda reminds me of Sisyphus - the exception being that instead of a rock it's a big poop-ball... bush* inc. keeps trying to roll it to the top of the hill and it now looks like it's rolling back over them

Sisyphus (SIS-i-fus) http://www.mythweb.com/encyc/entries/sisyphus.html

Sinner condemned in Tartarus to an eternity of rolling a boulder uphill then watching it roll back down again. Sisyphus was founder and king of Corinth, or Ephyra as it was called in those days. He was notorious as the most cunning knave on earth.

---snip---

For a crime against the gods - the specifics of which are variously reported - he was condemned to an eternity at hard labor. And frustrating labor at that. For his assignment was to roll a great boulder to the top of a hill. Only every time Sisyphus, by the greatest of exertion and toil, attained the summit, the darn thing rolled back down again.

8. Paul is not in control. A "Peter", he knows not what to do.
But then, this might just be intentional. The Master Pubs, with an eye on all of the remaining oil on Earth, could be looking for ways to initiate the Holy War. What better way than to send a "Peter" over there.

5. They will learn what was learned in Viet Nam called "fragging"
Expect to see a higher level of Officers deaths as the troops get upset.

9. Asshole officers need to fear this aspect, Those that know not how to lead
their troops can end up learning the hard way.

Officers who demand salutes in a war zone quickly learn not to as the snipers on the other side now know who to shoot.

Kennedy was a real Man compared to the Chimp we got now. Night and day.

11. More troop extensions
Just heard this morning that military units originally scheduled to leave Iraq have been extended at least 3 more months. There are some VERY distraught families at home.

14. Very angry/pissed and disillusioned with the Pub War of Bush/Cheney/Rummy
To see your sons and daughter go off to war is not a good feeling.

If its a war of Defense, like "They coming they coming, took over San Diego already", thats one thing.

But if its a war of greed using phoney excuses, thats a whole new ball game.

The Parents have been betrayed. The troops too. The Nat Guard is supposed to be a last ditch Defense, not to be used for Wars of Greed. But lately, these guys are being used. Bush is making it very hard for the Military Recruiters, thats for sure.
