Happy 55th birthday, Pacifica!
I did a DU search and didn't find anyone here wishing Pacifica, the only independent, progressive network in America, a happy 55th birthday.

I know Air America is nice, but let's give kudos to a network that has walked the talk and has been fighting the good fight for longer than many of us have been alive.

Pacifica, you rock!

Nice one Dwayne! I used to live in SC and really enjoyed the great radio station and its sisters on the dial. I especially remember Pacifica used to play lectures from great people, including one of my favorite philosophers, Alan Watts.
