they just can't stopping lying
"<rove> echoed bush's contention that the phrase referred to the carrier's crew completing their 10-month mission, not the military completing its mission in iraq."

even when they admit a mistake, sort of, they STIL CAN'T HELP BUT LIE.

right, the CARRIER had their own little 10-month mission and that was accomplished and bush just happened to decide to make a huge publicity stunt out of it while fully knowing that the mission in iraq was nowhere near over.

riiiiiiiiiight. mmm hmmmmm. so, why didn't we all hear about them carefully saying AT THE TIME, that the mission in iraq was far from over? no, what we heard was bush declaring an end to major combat operations. sounds like mission accomplished to me.

7. Diebold is being forced upon us by the Repug Kenneth Blackwell
Ohio Sec. Of State.

Several counties were unsure about the validity of electronic ballots.

After the deadline for the decision passed, Blackwell said, in essence, "You have now picked Diebold."

3. It is because of Diebold, not because of any grass root movement.
They KNOW they have in the bag.
By the way, he does look like a pig.

6. Rove is rueing a lot of things these days. I would like to see the banner
hanging behind Kerry on election night as he makes his victory speech. That would be sweet!:dem:

8. I have a couple of comments about the Rove article:
1) You're absolutely right, here is another "pseudo-linguist" who fancies himself as a master of words. It's just another word for liar. Rove made it clear that the banner 'Mission Accomplished' was actually for the 10-month stint in Iraq, not the mess we find ourselves in now. What the hell's the difference?

2) Rove is ABSOLUTELY certain the Rim-publicans are going to win over Kerry in Ohio. And a post above mine says that Ohio is using the Diebold voting machines. About 2 weeks ago, Bush made a statement to the same effect. He said something like, "I will not lose". Methinks I smell a rat.
