The Case Against Bush* In Three Sentences
1. George Bush made plans to go to war with Iraq before Sept. 11th.

2. George Bush did not make these plans public until after Sept. 11th.

3. George Bush used Sept. 11th to push forth his agenda for war with Iraq.

1 & 2 are common knowledge at this point. #3 is the inescapeable conclusion. the statments he has consistently made attempting to tie Iraq to the "War on Terror" is the supporting evidence to that conclusion.

Print up those three sentences & post 'em everywhere. It doesn't need to be any more complicated than this.

1. I dont believe in LIHOP or MIHOP but I do believe...
that he used Sept 11th to get us back into Iraq.

8. Untrue.
They needed a "catastrophic and catalyzing event-- like a new Pearl Harbor."

Their words, not mine.

Their own fscking words.

9. yep, way too much of a coinkydink...
...and i don't believe in coinkydink. As far as timing and audacity go, this group has it going. But for everything else, the actual execution, the follow-through--everything, they fall flat on their face.

$hrubco could fuck up a wet dream.

2. I'm going to go ahead and infer from your points above...
that Bush needed 9-11 to push through his plans for another Crusade, so he let 9-11 happen on purpose.

3. I believe that too, but for the mainstream
stick to those three points & let folks draw their own conclusions.

Even if people don't buy LIHOP, Just the fact that there's even "theories" like that out there show the HUGE credibility gap with this administration. They don't even see the benefit in attempting to clear up these misconceptions - if that's what they indeed believe they are - they're giving the public no reason to disbelieve it.

4. Problem is...
...millions of Americans don't care about any of that. "Saddam was a bad man", that's all they care about.

6. You got that right!
Heck, ALL my friends realize those three points. the problem is, the majority of them idealize him for doing that for some reason. it drives me completely insane. "sadam was a bad man" they say, "thats why we got rid of him." and no matter what i say, they still worship him as if he were jesus-incarnate. FUCK!!! of course being in houston texas explanes alot of it.

5. One and three are valid
...but face it, in his campaign speeches to the party faithful in 2000, he promised to remove Saddam Hussein from power.

Those plans were public to anyone who cared to listen.

7. Would it be safe to say he didn't act on the plans...
til after 9/11.

I haven't heard that he made such campaign promises. Another outrageous Bush antic that I can't believe is common knowledge.
