Osama losses/Bush losses?

Osama is still alive enough to make tapes and taunt America. He has lost his comfort, many top aides, some training facilities, and much of his followers.

He has succeeded in linking up his Al Qaida guys with other Muslim forces opposing the West specif ally America; To the point of presenting the makings of a Holy War.

Instead of finding Osama first, Bush goes for the long Pass in Iraq against much opposition from many quarters. Since Baghdad's Fall the situation has turned for the worse due to many reasons mostly poor planning and no planning.
The virulent Iraqis Mullahs are pissed as Bush appears to intentionally ignore common sense by letting in Fundie Bible thumpers making the Christan Vs Islamic thing obvious.


The only option, The United Nations on full power
The question: Bush and Osama are Losers to the extent both are causing great waste of precious energy/lives/opportunity. The World is the BIG LOSER. Why doesn't the UNITED NATIONs get their asses off their butts and find a solution? Should they?

After we have regime change here, we can give them the reparations they deserve. If the UN pulls Georgie's chestnuts out of the open fire, he may be able to spin that in his favor.

No other species on this Planet have done the same. Constant waste via War, hot or cold.

That the United Nations have failed to contend with Bush is a strong signal the system is in need of overhaul. Something is wrong.

But then, perhaps Planetary Diplomacy is still in its infancy and needs maturing.

There's only so much one can take from people whose foreign policy is based in the phrase "f**k you". So maybe for them it's time to return the favor and tell * to f**k off.

Nothing would be more satisfying than to see Bush twist in the wind, but between now and January, 2005 there are eight months. The Iraqi people are suffering every day, and will suffer every day of those eight months. Our American troops are at risk also, and will be every day of those eight months. Whatever the UN possibly can do, I would hope it feels morally obligated to try between now and then. It might not do too much good, but I hope they try.
I also hope the nations in the UN have a serious plan on the horrible possibility that Kerry doesn't win.

I can think of no better way ( as far as the UN is concerned) for Bush to be humiliated, than for the them (UN) to succeed where Bush failed.
