My favorite thing about Democratic Underground is the 10 conservative idiots list. Every week it is so poignant and funny.
We should petition Air America radio to read it on air weekly or come up with their own humorous list. It's a great thing that a broader audience should know about.
Anyone Agree?
I'll send a link to this thread and the top 10 conservative idiots page to Air America Radio if it is ok with the mods and if enough people agree.
I don't want things to be quite that overt. Gotta be subtle. It's okay for us here to do it - we're already the "wack jobs". We want Air America to be what appeals to the average viewer and can get them as the audience.
4. Maybe it would be good on a specific show that is already that way?
If one of the shows is already bashing the right all the time, why not have the list on that show. It won't change the credibility of a show that's already bashing the right all the time.
I can see your point if they ran it as a "news" item on the station, rather than a part of a specific show.
3. Great idea! People need to realize that a Liberal media source
that is just fair and balanced isn't doing it's job. AA if it is to survive and prosper must be a counter the right wing hate and express liberal ideas without reservations. If we try to just be a reputable news source it will fail. There will not be enough of a difference to ensure a growing and inspired listening audience. We need fire and brimstone! If Rash Limpballs is going to call us commies we should return the favor and call him what he is a fascist and hatemonger bigot. No punches pulled we should give them both barrels every minute of every day with just the short news bits dispersed with our perspective. If we try to be the real news were already done.
