11. I work for a large financial firm too
I've just been waiting for them to ban DU . My coworkers are so Pro Bush that its really hard to be around them at times. I really am hoping we aren't working for the SAME large financial firm ;)

By the way this is my first actual post to DU, thanks for having such a great website and source of information!

lots of companies have thresholds for traffic to non-work related sites...if you exceeded it...there may be more like you.

12. I got Bartcop and Mediawhores Online reinstated at my job

Bartcop was firewalled for "alternative journalism"; Mediawhores for "adult content." Fortunately we're given a mechanism for fighting back, so I explained that Bartcop was rooted in current events as opposed to conspiracy theories and what media whores actually were. And since my employer with globa1 with thousands of employees, all of them can now access Bartcop while at work!
