A short Tribute to Bev and Andy re:BBV

The events today in California are a true vindication of the persistence and sheer will power of Bev Harris and Andy.

When I first came to DU ('bout 1-1/2 years ago)I observed the BBV threads carefully and noticed that Bev was taking a lot of heat, but she was determined.

After today, Bev will not be considered a "conspiracy theorist" in any sense of the word. Proof: It ain't a conspiracy if it's true.

If you can't afford to donate or buy a book (or two), you can pitch in simply by writing a letter, sending a fax or e-mail or just making a phone call to your state and local elections officials and politely demanding paper ballots for auditing your local elections. Between us we have the power to change things but we ALL have to ACT!
If you haven't contacted your officials please do it NOW.

Roll up your sleves and get busy.

Write your congress people, state legislators, and local officials.

CC some of those letter to the press!

Then volunteer to help with voting.

There can be no excuse that they can't count paper ballot by hand if they have to. Give them the means to do it and they're going to have a hard time saying they can't.

Someone keep a list and publish the names of volunteers. Make it obvious democracy can work via the will of the people.

was what we believed back in the early days of BBV on DU, a Diebold plant. She/He would come in and spout a bunch of shit in support of Diebold and BBV and it was quite obvious to us all that she had an agenda. She's long gone now and so each time Bev and gang wins another round against BBV, I mention Frieda....

She posted at the Salon forum also. Said she assisted Greg Palast --
