From Email:malicious InternetactivityMicrosoft SSL-PCT 1.0 vulnerability
The Security Incident Response Team has received reports from our alert services of malicious activity on the Internet targeting the Microsoft SSL-PCT 1.0 vulnerability that was announced last week.

The exploit that has been observed on the Internet is extremely serious -- it would permit a skilled remote attacker to take full control of a vulnerable server.

The Microsoft patch has already been tested. Due to the severe risk of this new exploit, deployment of the patch must begin immediately for all Internet-facing servers with the vulnerability.
