I have to share some interesting things that I heard today.
I went to Nebraska City with a couple of friends from work to shop at the outlet stores. One of the women is republican leaning, but not freeperish. The other women is not political at all.
We were in a toy store and came across this bush doll that would repeat some of bush's best. "I know how hard it is to put food on your family." and "Is our children learning." etc.
The republican women says she should get it for her husband. She said that they might be repubs, but they both hate bush.
Later we stopped for lunch at this little diner. There were 3 old men at the table next to us that were talking loudly. They were pretty typical small town men in their 70's or 80's complaining about everything and everyone. I hear one of the men say "He's a Nazi, there is no other word for it, he's a Nazi. He is the worst president we have ever had."
One of the other men says, "I voted for him last time."
"Then you are buying your own lunch." replies the first man.
By now I'm laughing so hard there are tears rolling down my face.
The second man says, "Well, I didn't realize what I was doing, I won't do it again."
The three of them continued to bash bush for the rest of the time we were there. As we left I gave them a big smile and said "You gentlemen have a wonderful day." They sure made my day.

5. You hear these stories everywhere
A conservative e-mail buddy asked recently if it was possible for a sitting President not to win the nomination of his party.

9. The best line:
One of the other men says, "I voted for him last time."

"Then you are buying your own lunch." replies the first man.

That's just too funny.
