Sources: Anal intercourse rumor untrue
August 6, 2003 - Another rumor bit the dust Wednesday when sources said stories about anal intercourse between Kobe Bryant and his alleged victim are not true.

A rumor has rocketed across the country that the incident between Bryant and the 19-year-old woman Eagle woman he allegedly sexually assaulted stopped being consensual when Bryant demanded and may have tried to force anal intercourse.

Not true, sources close to the investigation told the Daily.

1. well, regardless of WHAT intercourse took/didn't take place
...rape is rape.
If he forced any sexual intercourse upon that woman, it's rape IMHO.
I'm kinda glad that rumour was false. It was real brutal :(

2. The other thread isn't about Kobe. It is about what constitutes consent
Here is the opening post. I am not going to post beyond this on this thread, I simply TIRE of people not reading what is said and then claiming what was said was something other than what was said

I DO NOT wish to discuss the Kobe Bryant case, but a number of people seem to think NO at any time during sex should NOT be sufficient. I personally think it should be for a variety of reasons, let alone the fact that if someone really wishes to terminate the act with you, why continue when there are alternatives?

But for those who think the issue is simply about women messing with men's heads (pun intended), I pose the question: If we are having a romantic evening and I am fully willing to engage in good old American-man-on-top-vaginal-sex.....and you all of a sudden head south in spite of my asking you not to...then what?

Do you still hold your position that it isn't rape?
