Do any of you think that we will see another McCarthy type hunt

of those that dare speak out against "queen" bush.

I mean,

"you are either with us or against us" has already led to teachers being called terriorists.

you;re god damned straight there will be another McCarthy style hunt and the victims will end up in Hitler style camps!

even the national teacher wrote a letter declining to go to the big "washington event" citing that since he was a "terrorist" he didn't feel he was welcome


I wish I had saved the letter...it was eloquent.

McCarthyism is still alive and well...remember what they tried to do to the dixie chickies? Or sean penn?

Ask the Dixie Chicks, Sean Penn, Michael Moore or Tim Robbins, for starters, who have all taken public direct hits and had their rights abridged by the right-wing. Even Private Jessica Lynch was dropped like a hot rock when she wouldn't beat the drum for the right wing.

Search the Net for so-called "traitors" lists, and you will find them.
Most any public figure who speaks out against the president or his war is branded a "traitor."

Or consider this snippet, from a site that cannot be linked to or mentioned here (but is **does** exist, sad to say):

That's not the only thing. I've heard conservatives say that they think all democrats should have their brains bashed in for being terroritst traitors. How can our country survive?

To the Bushies, Nixon was a piker; wasted his time with stupid stuff like break-ins, and McCarthy was just a pipsqueak. No, they have far more sudden and drastic measures in mind to assure loyalty to Herr Bush; look for immediate "passage" of a new Alien and Sedition Act soon after January 1, if there is an election in the fall (not a sure thing, by any means).
