CNN Daybreak wants opinions on Fallujah

I do not see where we are making any head way and the Middle East seems to be falling apart in front of us. What are we doing?

build a time machine and go back to 2000 and make sure all the votes get counted.

Saddam is gone. There never were any WMD's. Saddam had NOTHING to do with 9/11, and Al Qaida were enemies of Saddam's! So what in the hell are we doing over there? Why do our soldiers have to massacre Iraqis, or die trying? What would we do if some country came over here and deposed our leader, and then started setting up shop to take over our national resources, telling our citizens what to do, and what kind of government we should have? We'd be fighting in the streets, ourselves, and with good cause. Just like the Iraqis are doing! Leave them alone! The international community will step in when the U.S. gets out. Bank on it! And bring our soldiers HOME!

I don't get CNN Daybreak over here in Spain, but last night I was watching the bombardment of Fallujah on CNN-International and they kept showing this note at the bottom of the screen, "U.S. to Return Sovereignty June 30." That is misleading. Colin Powell has already confirmed what knowledgeable people already knew, that this sovereignty would be very limited. And even after elections scheduled for next year you can bet that Iraqis won't be getting their own oilfields back.

The world is in a mood for self govt and being ruled by a super power is a gone by thing. We have seen it since WW2 as it has moved all over the world. We can not stop it plus saying we believe in it as we do Empire building. It is silly.

Sending anything remotely describing our horror at the attack on Fallujah and Bremer's deliberate baiting of al Sadr to stir up the situation will NOT get read on the air.

They just want to hear from "real "Muricans." A ploy to get their old customers back.
