Rock Against Bush album update
Edited on Wed Apr-28-04 10:14 AM by rocknation

...NOFX frontman/bassist and Fat Wreck Chords Records founder Michael "Fat Mike" Burkett...has come out against Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush in the best way he knows how: by releasing the compilation album Rock Against Bush Vol. I...Aside from NOFX, twenty-five bands, including Ministry, Sum 41, The Offspring, Anti-Flag, Social Distortion, Jello Biafra, and Pennywise contributed songs...

But Rock Against Bush wants to do more than just entertain. Fat Mike has included a bonus DVD that contains videos of several of the album's songs and political information that aims to educate and agitate the punk voter audience...there are versions of two documentaries..that take a revealing look at the Bush financial/political empire...(one of them)...is due for a theatrical release in time for the 2004 Republican party National convention...Fat Mike has also joined forces with MoveOn.org...

2. Has there ever been this much fervor to oust a sitting president?
I have never seen people go after anybody in the past the way they are going after Bush now.
