1. What is the point of this mean spirited remark?

Cheney is American, or at least as American as any of us of non-Amerindian descent can be.

Bill the Bastard (as he was known prior to subduing England & becoming William the Conquer) was Norman: a province of France that was settled by the Vikings. This land being given by the French rulers (who lived in Paris: the inhabitants and founders of which were a Celtic tribe) to prevent raids on the rest of the French coast.

Without “the French”, there would have been no “United States of America.”

Ever hear of the Battle of Yorktown?
