2. Conservative Response?
Don't you think the Republicans would demand a Clinton/Gore public testimony if that were to happen?

4. and I bet they'd do it gladly
Clinton doesn't seem to feel a need to hide everything he did in the oval office. OK, that ONE thing, but I mean related to his presidency.

Who decided that Clinton/Gore would testify in private anyway? That is a queston, not a quiz. Was it the 9/11 committee or the big boys?

6. I doubt it.
These types (both parties) detest going public if it can be avoided, especially if they fear someone may try to attach culpability to them.

9. I think I heard on NPR that Clinton and Gore were under oath
Not sure if their answers were recorded, though.

3. Nearly 12,000 people don't think so
those must be the White House votes. Agreed - a little late now.

The question should be: Since they won't testify in public, under oath or separately - is it reasonable to assume they are lying?????

7. Actually, I'd vote 'no'
They should testify (that is, under oath) rather than interview; they should appear separately; and this testimony should be recorded and transcribed, but sealed--that is, it should not be public (unless and until vetted for national security and ordered by the judiciary).

Just because this administration has abused the concept of Executive Privilege, expanding it to cover their crimes, doesn't mean that Exec Priv doesn't exist and isn't important.

Of course, I won't go there and vote 'no,' because this poll is just to take the freepers-vs-loyal-Americans pulse, but there you go.
