Pittsburgh TV Host on air now demeaning 9/11 families

Fred Honsberger is on TV right now belittling the families of 9/11...calling them whining babies, stating that they have an agenda...and demeaning the idea of terror alerts.

He thinks the warning about the potential threats to malls in LA is a joke...he is whoring like hell for the Bushies.

It is so revolting I can't watch.

It is one thing to cut off a caller who is being rude or saying nasty words but it is another to talk over people and twist their words around to make them appear stupid.

on 9/11/01 are the ones who claim that those who lost their world on that day are "whiners." They have no fucking right to talk shit to the victims' families like that. Those RW pundits who claim that 9/11 "changed everything" obviously mean that before that day, they only yearned for an unearned moral high perch; Now they've got it and are spitting on those down below. I said I resented not only what he said about the 9/11 families, but AS an online viewer in Los Angeles, I DEEPLY AND SERIOUSLY resent his smirking about the threats to our malls here. UNCONSCIONABLE!!! I said if I were the news director there, he'd be out on his ass.

GUYS, it is NOT ENOUGH just to turn off the station. You have to complain TO THEM. YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT TO THEM, PERSONALLY. ONE-ON-ONE. And if you turn them off and don't tell them you've done so, or WHY you've done so, it doesn't do much good.

I went upstairs and turned it on only to find they switched to a recorded dialog....

The bastard even has a picture of John Kerry behind him with circle and slash mark..over the face....I guess he wants to make sure everyone knows who he likes.

A friend of mine has a very conservative husband and one day he was in the car listening to that jerkoff and he starts hearing him blather on about how working mothers are nothing but greedy pigs and that their husbands were too lazy to make enough money to feed the family...my friend's husband had to stop the car to calm down...he was so pissed off....

KDKA radio is mostly right wing. Their two lonely liberals are relegated to either nights and weekends where they are mostly preempted by baseball or for the weeknight guy have to do shows that are just 1 hour advertisements, psychics, angel ladies, etc.

The TV station PCNC used to have a great liberal show on at night - John McIntyre (who Air America should hire) but of course they wanted to cut his pay so he left.

and was heartbroken when WPXI canceled his show. He did some of the absolute funniest "scintillating commentaries" as he called them.

He filled in on Lynn Cullen's show a while back and I was in tears from laughing. Did you ever hear John rip on Honsberger? There is no love lost between those two.

I think some of it stemmed from the incident where John's girlfriend was smacked across the face by newscaster Gina Redmond (no longer with WPXI, probably stemming from station embarrassment over this incident).

John could do a great Clinton and *. I loved his fast-talking rifts at the end of his shows especially when he dissed Bushie or the Repugs. He should've recorded them cause they would've been classics.

I wish one of the local talk stations, or Air America would pick him up. He has too much talent to waste and he needs to be out there for we liberals this election year.

And believe me their polls are usually so freeped by the local wingnuts where Toomey actually won this county that I wonder if I'm living in Alabama.
