HE JUST SAID ."Our president, while a lovely man. said...etc..etc,,,"...Begala is a JOKE!!!! He doesn't help the Democratic cause at all, IMO

that Bush is an affable, likeable guy. It's just unbelievable.

at the rantings of Tucker...rather than disputing what he says!

I didn't watch it, but when Begala says that, it's usually tongue-in-cheek.

Another thing to remember, is that half of America still thinks Bush IS a nice guy. Why piss them off so much they won't even listen to us?

to the opposition. Why the hell do liberals feel compelled to do so? I will never understand it- I guess we try to be fair and balanced to a friggin' fault.

the repukes will label him as bitter partisan. i don't think Paul believes it.

Btw, did you guys see just a few minutes ago the tape of Dumbya with a blank stare on his face after he was asked a question from a reporter in the Rose Garden? It was posted a while back on DU. The audience laughed their asses off.

>Everytime I see him it reminds me of how we USED to have a good, intelligent, caring,GOOD LOOKING President.<

I miss him, too. I didn't wake up every morning during his administration worrying. While I wasn't crazy about everything he did, I knew he wasn't vicious, cruel, shallow, and incurious about the world around him. To use a cliche, I finally exhaled, and it felt pretty damn good.

In the meantime, I look forward to his book being released, just to enjoy the reaction of FReepers everywhere.

43. I'm looking forward to his book too.
The difference between President Clinton and bu$h is like day and night.I will never understand how people can support the idiot in thief. College educated professionals ignoring his horrible grammar and his lack of curiosity and his blundering talk is incredible. You can understand beer drinking illiterate back woods hicks voting for and supporting him......but educated people? I'm still in shock over it.But what really upsets me is how they all make President Clinton,Al Gore and now John Kerry the stupid ones. What is wrong with all these people? How can they not see what we see? Are they deaf dumb and blind or just plain nuts? Geez...

25. If you think Begala is less than aggressive,
you should've heard Roemer (spelling?) being interviewed by Wolf about the Bush*-Cheney meeting with the 9-11 commission. He repeated the word "gracious" 3 times (more maybe, but at least 3). He seemed overawed by the "honor" of being allowed to enter the Oval Office and bask in the glory of the *Presidency* :puke:

He tripped over himself in his eagerness to assure us all that Bush* had been totally open and helpful. UH-HUH. The very LEAST we should be able to expect of our representatives on that committee is that they maintain a healthy skepticism. I really didn't expect much more, but not to even have that?!!

And though he was coy and refused to blab (at least not on TV), he did make it sound as if most of the time was spent talking about Bush*'s suggestions for improving national security rather than going over ALL the UNANSWERED QUESTIONS. If they let Bush* get away with that, I am furious. (But we may never know.)

therefore a douchebag. Who forgets his hiding under the table when Cynthia McKinney was insulted on Crossfire?
A few days ago he was on Morning Sedition. He said both candidates have a 45% base - and their poll numbers will never go under that. The fight has to be over the 10% in the middle. Kerry has to convince his mother in law who thinks W is a very nice man."

Finneran, Kerry, etc. (Prominent one's, in public) Texas is still his home base and he wants to reamin politically relevant in it. He doesn't want to get shunned by it's establishment because if he doesn't he has more power himself to push his(democratic) agenda.

30. This is precisely the "nicey-nice" thing that infects the DLC and other
powerful Dems.

They aren't willing to fight back just as hard and ugly as the Pukes do. Guess they're afraid it might make for uncomfortable chit-chat the next time they run into their opponent at a Georgetown cocktail party.

Novak, with sepechural slime dripping from that vile chasm of a mouth, never hesitates to insult our party's leaders, but Begala is forever pulling his punches.

I've never forgiven Begala for getting under the desk to show his emberrassment when our brave Congresswoman (can't recall name) questioned Bushco's behavior regarding 9/11.

What a weiner. If only he had balls the size of that woman's ovaries!
