Does anyone know where the torturers are now?
what are they doing? Are they in a cell somewhere? Are they still on duty? What about the General?

1. Shit flows down hill.
The low ranking troops will, possibly, go to prison, the high ranking officers will get promoted.

Maybe one of the high ranking officers will some day be Secretary of State.

Just like Colin Powell and My Lai.

4. from the Museum of the Hard To Believe
I just read a story
that said those responsible
'hadn't been fully briefed on Geneva COnvention Protocol'
and had been 'reassigned' to elsewhere in Iraw
and that no charges are pending

that is stunning!

5. "written reprimand"
Perhaps from the Commander-in-Chief himself, in crayon.
