A convincing arguement for MIHOP
Edited on Sat May-01-04 02:10 AM by Must_B_Free
If we simply look at what is factually known, we know:

- Cheney is involved with the people who happen to have a plan to attack the middle east. They mention the catalyizing effect of a modern day Pearl Harbor.

- Cheney included, tried to get Clinton to go get Iraq in 1998, They wrote him a an open letter, which is on the PNAC website.

- We know at the beginning of the administration they were having these secret meetings that cheney is clutching that have a map of Iraq carved up and labled for his friends, associates and donors.

- Cheney finally got into the whitehouse, finally got control of everything, the very powers he demanded Clinton to use a couple years earlier

Then you have to stop at this point and ask yourself honestly now, what are we supposed to believe happened next?

They were occupied with other things? And then all of a sudden 911 caught them by surprise? And then Cheney suddenly smacked himself in the forehead and said, "Hey I've got an idea - remember that plan to invade Iraq we pushed for all those years, and then stopped, when we finally got control of all branches of government? Maybe it's a good time to go do that?"

That is what you have to believe to believe LIHOP in the slightest. You have to know that they pushed for this thing for a long time, years, then believe that they suddenly didn't pursue it, then happened to get the enabling event they mentioned while totally focused on other things.

Thats why this is is MIHOP all the way. 911 IS the war on Iraq, they are one in the same plan - a business plan. Business plans don't sit and hinge on the weather. This thing went forward like a steamroller.

And in making the excuses for this whole thing, we even find COndi using the famous PNAC selling point

Bold and comprehensive changes are sometimes only possible in the wake of catastrophic events -- events which create a new consensus that allows us to transcend old ways of thinking and acting.

And the Media is just as guilty as the Neocons. They polished this turd relentlessly. They didn't do thir job.

1. And, they don't care. All they care about is basing a story
on how many hits it got from Drudge any given day. Seriously, I had a CNN informant tell this.

2. The more one looks at it, the clearer it becomes
You can use Occams Razor or Sherlock Holmes style reasoning...they both take you to the same place.

Why did I take that little red pill??? I could be happily watching the next 'Survivor' episode.

3. There is a line in Condi's
testimony in front of the 9/11 commission that bothers me. It was just before Ben Veniste asked her the name of the PDB memo. Here is what she said:

"RICE: I remember very well that the president was aware that there were issues inside the United States. He talked to people about this. But I don't remember the al Qaeda cells as being something that we were told we needed to do something about."

Who was supposed to tell her she needed to do something about the cells? She is the one who is supposed to tell someone else to do something.

4. As to what Condi said...

(re. "catastrophic events) it's called the "political will". Anyone who watches "The West Wing" will prob be familiar with this. She's basically saying that even if she wanted to make those changes before 911 she wouldn't have been able to get the political and public backing to do it.

The conspiracy theorists' version of this is "problem, reaction, solution". Allow something to happen that will get a big reaction from the public, then be ready to offer them the solutions that you wanted all along.

(edited for clarity)

6. Well, you don't have to convince me......
I said 911 was planned from the start, only to be told I was crazy. If they could steal an election out from under our noses, why couldn't they have an attack to start a war? Is that why Osama hasn't been caught.....because he helped Bush and Cheney to kickstart their Iraq war? They needed something so big as to make Americans want to fight - 911 was perfect.

When I watched Bush and family on election night and he was soooo
smug about Florida and his winning, I knew then we were in deep trouble.

Look at what they did to Cynthia McKinney because she dared to state this in the early period after 911.

Look at what they did to the woman from Germany who dared to compare Bush to Hitler.

Were these people and others who thought like them so off the mark?

People didn't want to hear it then and they don't now, why because they would have to admit that Bush and Co. are evil.

Unbelievable as it is there are people who say Today that we must trust and believe in our President, no matter what. That kind of ignorance is beyond comprehension to me.

If this country doesn't wake up soon, America as we know it, will be gone forever.

This is just my opinion, crazy or otherwise.

7. I still say LIHOP, but it doesn't really matter
Either way, the fuckers should be fried. I'm normally against the death penalty, but this particular cabal seems to believe in it so deeply that it would only be fair to use it against them.

HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Another list vaguely consistent with an impossible theory. And also consistent with 900 more likely scenarios.

Therefore, MIHOP.
