i've never seen anything like it, and i'm fairly old and worn out.
it's similar to the last years of nixon, but with it's own flavor.
saturday night live predicted it accurately with a sketch of what would happen if w won. holy hell broke out, the white house on fire, and martial law declared in the first week.

but this shit ain't funny no more. too many dead people layin' around for my liking. it's also amazing what assholes these people truly are. it's like the rising of the assholes. in only four years, bushco has damn near ignited the world in flames and brought on armageddon, very impressive.

we simply wont' survive another term of him and his nazi crew. we must act.

1. I keep thinking back to when Clinton was leaving the WH
When he spoke to all those people in the aircraft hangar? My feeling was "Please don't leave, these idiots will ruin us!"
I think alot of people were feeling that, Bush* was and is too stupid to be president, now we will get the blowback.

2. The news is so absurd, it would be hilarious if

it wasn't about the killing of tens of thousands of people, and the crushing of hope for the survival of human civilization.

We're all in Bush's snake pit now. As well as trying to climb out, sometimes it's a struggle just keeping our sanity.

4. The sad thing about all of this...
...is that the Bushies are doing it on PURPOSE. It's part of the Neocon/PNAC plan (going back to the Reagan/Gingrich years...to destroy America in order to rebuild it in THEIR image.

- Part of that plan is to rid our nation of the two-party system...to make Democrats and Liberals irrelevant to the political process. That they have succeeded so well and so fast makes one wonder if the Democratic party hasn't been infiltrated by 'NeoDems' willing to give the party away to the highest bidder.

- I disagree with one point: the US will survive another four years of Bush*. In fact..like in the case of Nixon...the US might need another four years of Bush* before they finally see the depth of the corruption and malfeasance. Bush* must leave office in disgrace...not simply voted out.

6. If...Maybe A Saving Grace
Hopefully we've reached the crest in our lives of the rise and now fall of the Right Wing. It happens every couple generations (20's, 50's, 80's...yep we were due). This one, like a recession was a bad one, but I think we've either hit bottom or are about to.

When the GOOPs danced that they won some kinda mandate with their slim gains in the House & Senate in 2002, I said "OK, now you've got all the keys, let's see how quick it takes you to blow the engine". Well, they've drained the battery, never changed the oil and the wheels are starting to come off.

People are starting to wake up and realize the Right Wing noise that most ignored for years as "politics", now has affected their lives. It's cost them jobs and savings, for some its the lives of family loved ones or just the seperation. This regime has had a negative effect on virtually everyone...and the blowback is gonna be big.

My hopes are * will screw things up so bad, he'll become the Hoover of our lifetime...the barometer of how bad a government can be and the types of people to keep far away from the leverage of power.

Nixon was bad, but no where as corrupt and cold-blooded as this regime.
