The talking heads are just drooling all over this like its some major coup, when all that appears to have happened is that they let the guy go.

Look at how the wingnuts are going after the veteran who returned from Iraq and gave yesterday's Democratic response. Look what happened to Jessica Lynch. Where's she in all the "celebrating" about Mission Accomplished. Personally, I hope she's living a very private life and healing from ALL the wounds this war inflicted on her....including the trashing she took upon her return.

I expect we'll not hear from him or much about his release. It's the flavor of the day. That's why I think Stephie hit it quick and moved along...CNN pretty much did the same on their casts this morning.

This mercenary is too much of a liability to put out public. That invites scrutiny into his background and that of his employers. Not something this regime wants anyone to see.

Look back a week at the "big stories"...Kerry throwing his medals, Bunnypants Press Conference...all in the rear view now. This story is another flavor and one this regime I'm sure would like to end quickly. Yep, they'll take the quick kudos on the talk shows today (notice the Sunday morning timing? I have) and some news and water-cooler coverage tomorrow, but I think we'll be long past this story...and even the torture in this short-attention span media world we live in.
