Can anyone here imagine the shock, the pure horror
as mom and dad, somewhere in America were watching the evening news regarding the sexual abuse and torture of Iraqi prisoners...And there, before God and everyone, is their son grinning wildly in the photograph of tortured prisoners.

What did you do in the war daddy?

Could this be why 4 mercenaries were killed burned and dragged through the streets? Is this another reason why we are being killed by iraqi civilians? Is this 'freeing'the Iraqi people?

It is time to bring our troops home. NOW.
I don't care if you call it "cut and run" or supporting Terraists. Our kids, parents and grandparents have to come home now.
We are now just as bad as Saddam was to his own people.

1. Shock & Awe turns to Shock & Disgust
Both were disgusting, but this is just too much to bear.

I mean, really. That's it. The war is lost -- if there is no way to win (and there isn't) without winning "hearts and minds" then the war is lost forever.

2. Or, can you imagine the outrage
if a bunch of naked American captives were stacked in a pyramid and sexually abused?

Bush would be firing cruise missiles left and right.

3. I believe that's "Who did you do during the war, daddy?"
You know what? It doesn't matter if it's all debunked; it's in peoples' minds now, and the verdict is in. The only question is how much worse will it get? There's no "fairness" in these sorts of things, just like the Salle Boche bayonneting Belgian Babies or Kuwaiti premies being thrown out of their incubators.

For the record, we're obviously involved in torture, and there are all sorts of ugly things going on over there, fed in large part by our racist goading and self-proclaimed privilege "after 9-11". Lots of this is nothing new, and it's human nature. That's why there are laws: to protect us from other humans. That's why deregulation's a bad idea. That's why government is necessary. Etc., etc., etc.

The world hates us now, and is aghast at our actions. The fact that any spluttering denunciation of these acts by Junior or Poodle-boy have been so faint and qualified make it all the more terrible. This is now history: it can't be changed, except for the worse.

Once again: everything that happens in Iraq is George Walker Bush's personal fault. Every civilian and Iraqi military casualty (the latter are NEVER mentioned) and all other deaths, disruption and horror are personally his fault. He must be hounded by the world for this with no restraint; may he live to be a very old man with good hearing and eyesight.

4. These Americans can...very sad...all the lies...the US was
Edited on Sun May-02-04 11:38 PM by Zinfandel
"imminently" threatened, as BushCo told us, from WMD in Iraq...and now the liars have no way out, but to beg the UN to bail them out, whom they despise and ignored in order to invade...sick fucks...For OIL, US bases, corporate profit and to boost poll numbers for Bush.

And more sadness every day and they just don't care.

6. man, those pictures fuck me up
Normally I am against showing anybody's grief to the world.

Seriously against it.

But in this case, when we've all been lied to, when the entire war has been censored, "sanitized" and shoved down our throats with all the nazi-esque propaganda techniques modern media can give us ....

I think there should be billboards of this shit on every corner. They should be the opening graphics of every news program.
