Rumsfeld: expect attacks in Iraq,in other countries, in USA
where they could try to affect the elections like they did in Spain...

My comment: OK so now we know for sure: they are prepping the Americans for an attack here and by mentioning the Spaniards (whom they have characterized as cowards for not re-electing the puppet Aznar) they are prodding the Americans to re-select Bush so that we are not characterized as cowards...There you have it.

This was during his press conference today.

10. Hey, I didn't say that! :-)
But seriously, I think Rummy is preparing US for a draft. I'm really becoming unglued about this draft thing. Imho, if it happens our country is going to be torn apart as never before.

15. No, no, no....Rummy made this statement
about a threat to DISTRACT you from thinking about the torture pictures and the ever-widening scandal. See how that works? Why does Rummy still have a job?

If one had one's "d'ruthers"....
If, and only if, it is inevitable that terrorists are going to stike the USA before the elections, does anyone else think that any one convention, er, uh, group or place be attacked than another?

5. They say we are safer now with Bush but at the same time warning
us about a likely attack.

Remind me: Why do so many people still think that Bush is better in fighting terrorism than Kerry?

7. Another attack will ruin them
There we're being kept safer by Bush strategy will be demolished.

They're terrified of another attack, it's the WORST thing that could happen.

9. Terrorist Attact = Imposition of Martial Law
Irregardless of what public pronouncements are made by this administration, another terrorist attack would simplify consolidation of powers in the hands of a few.

Basically, we would enter a constitutional dictatorship (and we know what Bush et al thinks about a dictatorship.)

And I fear it IS THE plan.
WE are gonna see major blowback on this turn of events.
Especially if more comes out on the Muslim WOMEN in
custody. I think it is what the neocons want- I don't
think the abuse story breaking is an accident.
I mean think about it- a media that has
kept in strict obedience with gag rules imposed
by their corporate MIC bosses, suddenly breaks
a story like this? WHY? In whose interests?

I think it is a set up for a major castastrophy that will
position them right where they have been aiming
to go all along.
Martial law, in the interest of national security, of course.
Activation of the shadow government and the use
of contract military and reservists to patrol our streets.
ALL too possible if you ask me...

13. Rumsferld would know best. his pals will LIHOP or MIHOP the next attack
for him and his Emperor*

The Busheviks KNOW an attack will hand Bush a victory for the opposite reasons of Spain, a rallying effect.

So, as al-Qaeda isn't likely to attack because they want Bush in charge because he's so good at doing exactly what they want, expect San Francisco, which the Busheviks hate for the same reason al-Qaeda does, to take it in the chin.

Sorry, San Franciscans, but I fear greatly for you.
