Am I the only one who thinks this Disney fiasco is good for the movie?
when a library in Massachusetts banned the book, he wrote to his publisher, "They have expelled Huck from their library as 'trash suitable only for the slums'. That will sell 25,000 copies for us for sure."

A la That shit film OF Mel Gibson. With all these books selling, there is obviously an audience. Not to mention After bowling for columbine he has a reputation. I want this film to get as much publicity as possible. Its on WhoreCnn so the cat should be out of the bag. I'm wating for it to break international and once the Ny Times and/or New yorker cover it, it already will have a #1 box office gross. Remember Bowling for Columbine was the #1 grossing documentry of all time.

2. could be a publicity stunt
however it does put Eisner in a spot in FL and billions are on the line. Billions. The best selling documentary can't weigh in against that.

5. Where's your links to evidence this is a publicity stunt?
Edited on Wed May-05-04 07:57 AM by mouse7
I'm constantly seeing people demanding hard evidence on the 9/11 conspiracy threads. Well... I want to see some hard evidence that Disney is pulling a publicity stunt, and has nothing but Moore's best interest at heart.

Links, please.

6. I'm not a Moore fan, I do, however, like that he's our Ann Coulter. I'm
happy about this coverage for him.

It makes BushCo look like poo poo ka ka

7. I beg your pardon
Coulter advocates violence against those she hates.

Michael Moore only sits around outside the offices of those he shows are corrupted and tries to interview them. BIG difference.

9. Links to evidence Michael Moore provoked an attack from Eisner?
Edited on Wed May-05-04 08:13 AM by mouse7
Do you have any evidence whatsoever to base that assertion on?

Links please.

12. I Agree
This will be great for the movie like the anti Passion movement was great for Gibson. I would like to suggest though that we have a little respect for the people who believe in Jesus and appreciated the film. The point is freedom of expression even if you do not agree with the message.
