Disney... Hannity-loving hypocrites!
This thing with Disney not wanting to distribute Micheal Moore's new film is nothing but absolute hypocricy...

The executive said Mr. Moore's film is deemed to be against Disney's interests... because Disney caters to families of all political stripes and believes Mr. Moore's film, which does not have a release date, could alienate many.
(Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/05/national/05DISN.html)

Back in February, I took the family on a week-long vacation to Disney World in Orlando. Much to my disgust, Sean Hannity was there one day, broadcasting his daily Liberal-bashing, crap-fest right from the big, open square in front of Cinderella's castle!

Frankly, I was so disgusted to see Hannity broadcasting from the happiest place on earth that it put a damper on the rest of my day. I was... in a word... alienated.

Thanks, Michael Eisner... you hypocrite ass.

3. Anyone got contact info?
I've been scouring Disney's web site looking for some sort of corporate contact info, but I can't find any. Any leads would be appreciated.

9. Here's the letter I sent...
... some content as my original post... but cleaned up a bit to furter appeal to the Corporate mind.

------------------------

Dear Mr. Mitchell:

This issue with Disney not wanting to distribute Michael Moore's new film is nothing but absolute hypocrisy!

"The executive said Mr. Moore's film is deemed to be against Disney's
interests... because Disney caters to families of all political stripes and believes Mr. Moore's film, which does not have a release date, could alienate many."
(Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/05/national/05DISN.html )

I have fond childhood memories of Disney World, and was eager to share the experience with my 5-year-old daughter. Back in February, I took the family on a week-long vacation to Disney World in Orlando. Much to my disgust, Sean Hannity was there one day, broadcasting his daily Liberal-bashing, fright-fest right from the big, open square in front of Cinderella's castle!

Frankly, I was so upset to see Hannity broadcasting from the happiest place on earth that it put a damper on the rest of my day. I was... in a word... alienated.

Sir, as upset as I was with seeing Hannity, it did not occur to me to hold The Walt Disney Company responsible. But this recent claim that Disney is holding up the film only to avoid alienating customers is hypocritical nonsense that has, once again, made me feel alienated by your company. It tells me that Disney is less interested in alienating customers, and more interested in serving the Bush Administration.

Three strikes and you're out, as they say in baseball. I can only answer a third slap in my face by making sure that no more of my hard-earned cash goes to the Walt Disney Company. The Walt Disney Company should reconsider its decision and publish Moore's film as soon as possible, or risk losing other life-long fans - and customers - such as myself.

2. Eisner also said
that he was afraid that Disney would loose tax breaks in Florida... basically admitting that the Bush family are a bunch of corrupt scum who will retaliate against Disney because Moore exercised his first amendment rights. He has a point you know...

...Walt Disney was a neo-con long before the word ever came into existence. Fifty tears (oops, Freudian slip, I meant years) ago during the McCarty hearings for un-American activities, old Walt gave dozens of names of friends, co-workers, business associates and other Hollywood notables which he claimed were known communists, communist sympathizers or had socialistic beliefs.

Walt kowtowed with leaders of the military industrial complex and conservative government officials throughout the fifties and right up to the end of his life in 1968. His neo-con tactics and associations with the right kinds of people made it possible for him to secretly acquire over 26,000 acres of prime Florida citrus real estate right in the middle of Florida in the mid-1960's for prices below $500 per acre which has become the multi-billion dollar corporation known as the Disney Company. But that was then and it was just "good business". Now the off-spring of those same neo-con connections are collecting their dues (JEB Bush and company). Eisner is not so much a hypocritical ass as he is a frightened puppet.

By my estimate, backing away from this movie agreement could cost the Disney Company (Mirmax Productions) all the revenues derived from a potential 100 million theater audience who want to know what happened, as well as all of the royalties and profits from the derivative revenues by exporting the picture to overseas audiences and people who will want permanent copies of the picture on video and DVD. The potential is well over one billion dollars. Disney executives must be scared sh*tless to thumb their noses at that kind of money!

11. ABC radio in NYC is wall to wall hatred. They had one wussy liberal
a Naderite Lynn Samuels who was bashing dems (once or twice a week if not preempted by whatever)
. They sacked her too a few years ago - not to intrerrupt their hatefest.
been boycotting Disney since forever.
