I supported our troops up until the torture issues began arising...now I dont so much support them as feel bad for those that are caught in the middle over there and will be paying for our actions with their blood.

In any other country, SOMEONE (Commanding General, Sec of Defense, etc.) would have publicly accepted responsibility and resigned by now (even if not directly responsible) in order to restore the confidence of the American public and the foreign community. But for Bush to get someone to resign would require him to admit an "error" on the part of the administration's policies or his personal staff choices.
