Where is Bob Dornan (R-CA) ? Why isn't he running?
Edited on Sat Aug-09-03 12:56 PM by jiacinto
The thought just came across my mind. Why isn't he running or in the race at all? I mean, he is a movement conservative. He ran for president in 1996 before losing to Loretta Sanchez. I am really surprised that he isn't running. His name is notoriously absent. You would think that he would jump into the race. The thought came to my mind. Why is he not involved?

2. Turn on MSNBC
He's all over it with his loudmouth. 'People are sick of professional politicians, they want someone like Arnold.' Wouldn't look too good if he jumped in when he's talking like that I guess.

9. actually it does
he is an egotistic self-promoting bafoon. Hadn't thought about it - but you are right. It is just the sort of stunt he would pull. Even if party insiders suggested he didnt (he was virtually abandoned in his second try against Rep. Sanchez).

11. Yeah, but have you noticed he's been
very subdued since Bush took over? Yes, he does the occasional talk show. But he is staying out of the ring so to speak? Is he following ohders, ja?

He was at his most outrageous when Clinton was President.

17. Maybe Karl Rove asked him not to
Maybe there were some promises of money or power if he stayed out of it?
