That wasn't an apology

He just can't say he's personally sorry. This time, as has been thoroughly discussed, he was only able to report that he had earlier expressed sorrow to King Abdulla (?), whom I suppose was a surrogate selected to receive said apology.

Maybe Prince George should go back and listen to some of his old vinyl sides to get a clue as to what a real apology sounds like. Here I couple of songs off the top of my head

Thank you for saying that! While the personal apology to the king (?) of Jordan was a nice thing to do, he should have apologized directly to the Iraqi people, like a real leader would have! He should have taken responsibility, as a real leader! But nooooo, he gives this half-assed apology to someone unrelated to the torture, after the political pressure gets to him. That's not how the Commander in Chief should act!

Howard Fineman claims that Bunnypants only talks "King To King"...appologizing shows weakness. So does torturing defenseless people, you weaseldick! This is called being an arrogant bully.

Our only hope here is when we remove this regime, the world will be so relieved there'll be a good world party for a few days. We could use one.

he didn't tell him they had pictures and uh ur also the reports. And it never would have broken if not for the pictures. So, yeah he's sorry - sorry he got caught.

I posted on a thread earlier today
and said more or less the same thing:
to say 'I told the King I was sorry'
is not the same thing as an apology
and why on earth does he only apologize to Jordan
for God's sake?

couldn't jump in, but noticed everyone had picked up on the apology being a non-apology which was nevertheless portrayed by the media as an apology. Are we that clever or are alot of other people just stupid?

But I'm not part of the reason WHY they were humiliated, whereas Bush IS. "I'm sorry that you feel bad" is NOT an apology. "I told somebody else that I'm sorry that you feel bad" certainly isn't. "I'm sorry that what I did MADE you feel bad" is.
