Just a reminder of how far some republicans will go to justify themselves. Their insane arguments cause normal people's heads to explode.

Hang your head in shame, George W. Bush. You and your collaborators have so much to answer for. You cause the sacrifices our honorable soldiers are making to be in vain.

They use this form of debating, arguing on all subjects. they usually have several bible quotes. IT is a form of intimadation. It leaves no room for normal debate in response. It is so outrageous. Abusers use this on victims. It is confounding type of doublepspeak that sounds like logic but is not.

How does one address or speak to this? I know many believe this line of thinking. I have seen this nasty, belligerent type of reasoning elsewhere. I just don't know how you stand up to it or squash it. How do we get people to understand reason, morals when this type of debate is used.

Rush uses this a lot. It is very powerful in convincing those who do not think for themselves or who are subseptable to brainwashing. I find myself resistant and appalled and tongue tied to attack it or defend against it or what ever.

the point of this type of "argument" is not to engage the issue, the point is to muddy the water...

it's demagoguery. They employ every propoganda tool in the book.
