Why else do you think this story has legs? Jesus, since late last summer, we've had Joe Wilson, Wilson/Plame, YellowCakeGate, Paul O'Neill, the Medicare Cost Scandal, Richard Clarke, the 9/11 Hearings, Bob Woodward... and nothing has taken traction.

This story has legs because it is sexual in nature, complete with photographs. This story blows away the Blue Dress. I'm tellin' ya, the photos are the reason the press is all over this story. The photos.

What will we tell the children now??? Sure, Republicans will tell you they continue to be disgusted with Bill Clinton because their children were asking them uncomfortable questions about blowjobs at the time.

Look at the polls... Gallup says now only 42% of those polled believe in the war against Iraq. The same number was at 60% in January of this year, long after we already knew about Wilson/Plame; the lies told by Bush at the SOTU in order to force our hand; O'Neill's insistence that Bush was bent on war with Iraq from DAY ONE.

It took SEX and PHOTOS to get this on page one. It's been on Page One for TEN DAYS now.

No small coincidence, and we should stop being naiive about that.
