I get it! The Bush years - it's all a prank!
And the most elaborate, devilish prank in the history of pranks!

Since December 2000, the whole world's been the mark of some prank TV show (I smell a Fox production.) Because the only way any of the Bush years make sense is if someone steps up now and says "Surprise! You're on Candid Camera!" Helluva budget. The extras and special effects alone....

Whew! I must admit, that was a good one. Now I know none of it's real, I gotta say, it was pretty hilarious. You really had us going there for a few years.

1. It's much worse than a prank...
The alien pod people are taking over the world. How else can you explain half the population of the country supporting a brain-dead pod person for a president? The only possible explanation is that half the population has been replaced by pod people.

2. Yeah. It was all just letting off steam. Frathouse pranks. Hijinks.
And definitely a Fox production.

4. That sounds like that episode of South Park
where they discover Earth is a reality-show ran by extra-terrestrials. Explained a lot of things for me.

6. I was thinking about it the other day. . .

A.B. II (after Bush), reality T.V. became outrageously popular. People made fools of themselves based on greed and exhibitionism, as the news became increasingly false.

Faux News. . . falsity T.V.

Yuck!

I'll take the "Daily Show's" "fake news" any day.

8. I share your ironic, is this my world? sense of it all
Me and my husband have been saying it seems pretty surreal these days.

I have to keep my sense of humour between bursts of overwhelming rage and utter sadness.
