Did/didn't Bush know?
Edited on Fri May-07-04 05:50 PM by candy331
It really doesn't matter because he should have known and by some chance he didn't, in such a potentially explosive scandal then that just proves he should be the one gone. He has pleaded don't know too often so now it is time to say he doesn't know how to be President. If his subordinates do not confer with him to let him know of serious national concerns then he has a problem and should go. CEO"s of companies have to know and they know the share holders say the buck stops with them. Didn't know is no excuse, ever got off paying a fine because you didn't know? I was told "ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law". Not that I don't want to see Rummy frosted but I am tired of Bush slipping by and never having to take responsibility for his actions.

2. he knew, but too dense to know what it meant
I have no doubt he knew, but it didn't mean anything to him. He figured we invaded them, are bombing them, shooting them, now we are torturing them, no big deal to Bush. He is oblivious to International Law and clueless to Human Rights. How could the entire rest of the world know, anyone who had a computer would know, yet the entire Whitehouse didn't know? The whole web knew about Abu Ghraib since last spring.
