John Warner of Virginia - POS Number 1
My belief that John Warner of Virginia is the single largest piece of shit in the Congress of the United States has been reafirmed today. Does anyone think there is a more vile person in this branch of our Government?

I think he seems to have a large ego, but I dislike some of the others more. Like Sessions for instance.

11. The general unspoken view of Warner...
... amongst long-time Senate staffers is that he's dumb as a post. He's glommed onto the Armed Services Committee as his primary bailiwick, so he's always being quoted about military issues, even though he can't seem to remember the simplest things about those issues.

He's pretty good, though, at saying nothing and making it sound thoughtful. Politics being what they are today, however, he's not the worst. If he were brighter, he'd probably be a lot more dangerous than he is. I think of him as the Ronald Reagan of the Senate--good with his lines, even if he doesn't understand what they mean.
