We could have saved face and SO much $ if we only focused on Afghanistan.
After billions of dollars are diverted to defense contractors, after thousands of lives have been wasted and the US has zero moral authority in the world. Frankly, from someone here at home, I don’t have much respect for the country’s current rage adopt a fundamentalist agenda in our own and state constitutions.

Women’s rights to their wombs are increasingly being denied and restricted. It’s the same for gays whose partnership health benefit rights are being stripped away. But in Amerika these are marginal votes. If the trend continues, they won’t even have that either.

The ideal of American democracy was dealt a blow in 2000 when the SCOTUS intervened and selected * as the POTUS. Under those circumstances, * had every motivation to justify his selection with an open administration policy. They are more closed and secretive than ever. He could have tried to unite, but didn’t really consider it until 9/11 and that was short lived. While the threat of “being with us or agin us” was held to heart by corporations of all kinds here at home, it was a challenge for most of the other countries in the world. Especially when * sent Powell to lie to the UN and then invaded Iraq anyway. And now with the prisoner abuses and torture revealed, our ideal is bankrupt.

From the * beginnings this administration just seems to be an exercise of paybacks and kickbacks. At the end of the Iraq debacle, we will relocate the Taliban to Iraq. Mission accomplished.

With the moderators’ permission, I’d like to conclude with my own heartfelt sentiment to this imposter resident of the WH, “Eat me!”

I fell better now.

you can get a hotel, a large building, bridge, and market with lots of kids and people. What corp is going to sign up to re-build a mans house? Heck bridges mean money.Just think what we have shown to the world as we went after a world class city.

4. Yeah, except the plan was to invade Iraq from the beginning.
There was never any other option to these people. All of this has gone off according to their insane plan.
