Laura Bush, defending the war, this morning told anyone watching Good Morning America that we've made things so much better for Iraq...citing hospitals open and water flowing and all the dishonest things we've seen before.

And then she says "little girls are in school for the first time in their lives, being liberated from the Taliban". :wtf:

They really don't know where they are, do they?

She does not appear to be oriented to time and place at all.

Pickles was a Librarian, she can't be that stupid, Librarians read, at least the ones in my town do. Poeple who read tend to be educated, educated people are likely to be abreast of current events.

In her case you think she might take an interest in her husbands interestes. The guy invades a country, the least one can expect from her is that she at least knows who the enemy is.

She doesn't know who we are at war with, Condi doesn't know who her husband is, Rummy can't figure out digital cameras, despite the worst terrorist attack on American soil, Dick still thinks Rummy is the best Defense Secretary ever.
