Why won't the Red Cross name dates they raised alarm in Iraq?

I do not understand why the Red Cross refuses to say exactly when they warned "coalition" forces in Iraq of the prison conditions at Abu Ghraib.

The rightwingers are claiming "the system works" regarding the chain of command addressing the abuses at Abu Ghraib. I'd like to know exactly who and when in the chain of command knew about the abuses.

The dates of the Red Cross warnings are crucial. Why won't they be more specific?

1. Possibly
They are an international organization aren't they? Perhaps they believe that providing that specific information would taint the United States Election. Which could lead to America not cooporating with their larger mission down the road. So they have chosen to focus on their main mission.

I could be wrong though.

2. More importantly, why won't the bush admin give the dates?
It is not up to the Red Cross to give those details, it is up to the bush admin and they won't because it will prove, yet again, that they lie, lie lie!

3. Sounds like perhaps covering for junior to soften the damage.
Would the Red Cross do something like this?

Who knows?

4. Threatened. Bullied. Intimidated.
Standard Imperial Op.

Not many have the balls to stand up to it. Most who did...died soon after.

as neutral as possible. they try stay out of politics so they can gain access to prisons, etc, etc. that is why they will not comment on Saddam`s condition
