We know that in by-the-book military interrogation our interrogators are trained to NEVER use violence, and that you fail interrogator school if you so much as jab your finger into a detainees chest.
Okay so far.
We also know that detainees were often forced to disrobe for interrogations, to squat for hours, stand for hours, or stand on boxes for hours.
Okay... or what? You tell me to stand on a box at attention 'or else!' Or Else What? What happens if I step off the box or I don't remove my clothing? See what I mean? Or else something worse than standing on a box or disrobing. (If it's not worse it's hardly an 'or else')
Just a thought. Everytime I hear 'detainees were forced...' I always ask myself, 'forced how?' (To make the puzzle even tougher, another rule of interregation school is to never threaten a subject with anything you are not prepared to do.)
