2. Nader is not on any state ballot to date, not enough support, still
the polling folks, and the talking heads that tell us all what it means, persist in this "third party", "spoiler" candidate
story...I don't get it.

I understand the political points Nader has made. I just don't get the spin.

4. Maybe He's Trying To Help Us

I just keep thinking he wants to be a place holder and then pull out at the last minute to "save" the Democratic party-- Dreaming.

6. It's quite simple, really...
Have polls consistently showing Nader polling 5-7%, giving the illusion that the race is neck and neck. When election day rolls around, it will be sooo close, so very close that Bush will be able to steal the election once again. And Nader will be seen as the spoiler, giving it to Bush once again.

3. The "pollsters" continue to put Nader in the mix
even though he isn't a candidate. The purpose is to take points away from Kerry, to make bush look stronger.

9. He has more of a chance than Gore did...
* isn't that popular here anymore. Approval ratings hovered around the mid-fifties last I saw. I wouldn't bet on a Kerry win, but it's not impossible.

7. Whether Nader is on the Texas ballot is of very little consequence.
It's not exactly a state considered to be "in play."

13. nader probably won't make it on any of the ballots that are leaning for
bush. but I'm pretty sure that he will make it in all of kerry's states.
