Has SHrubya already decided the election is lost and to hell with us all??
Today we find out that Syria is now cleary in the crosshairs. First 'sanctions', how long till the troops are going across the border?

Has der Feuer Shrubya said, "I'm not gonna win, so I'm going out with a bang and take as many of them with me as I can?"

How many wars dose he think he can manage at once? Where will he get the troops? Will the draft be on us BEFORE November?

I said I feared what could happen between November and Janurary when he knew that he was done, I admit that I NEVER considered what would happen if his house of cards collaped before then.

Ghod help us all....

2. It's not just bush
but many, many dems as well as repubs. Syria has been in the crosshairs for awhile. I don't agree with Syria's policies especially in Lebanon and Hizbullah, however the US will proceed from now on on its own (which is dangerous policy considering our present isolation in the world). Sometimes, I don't know what our "leaders" are on.

5. I'd be very concerned if that were the case
In 2000, we saw that Bush and his lieutenants were willing to disenfranchise voters, make certain votes were not counted and were propared to simply have the Florida state legislature award that state's electoral votes to Bush regardless of the voters' wishes. Anybody who says that election wasn't stolen is either a liar or a fool.

What will he do to maintain power? I don't want to think about it. As long as he thinks he can "win", he won't do anything too drastic.

6. Bush can't reinstatethe draft.
Congress has to and I don't see them doing it before the elections. They want to be re-elected too.

9. Congress has rolled over dead for Bush the last 3 + years why not now
Congress gave this appointed president way more power than they ever should. They voted for this war. The whole bunch of them are crazy.

I would like to know which congress people did not vote for Bush debacle.

10. Whatever it takes...
Has der Feuer Shrubya said, "I'm not gonna win, so I'm going out with a bang and take as many of them with me as I can?"

You're assuming he cares what the American people think. I really don't think he does. I think he thinks he knows what is best for the country and he's going to go ahead with that no matter what anyone else thinks... and with whatever it takes.

I hope we haven't seen a coup d'etat and just don't know it yet, but I'm not an optimist at all.

89% of the country was supporting bush
89 friggin percent. we sit here and harp on the congress now, two years later. what were the condidtions way back then. what was happening way back then. easy to ignore the past and judge today, but someone on this board was a part of the 89% of the public

we the people had a huge responsibility in what happened. we the people told our congress to vote as they did. we dont want to take responsibility for it, we want to blame the congress for not having the balls. what part did we the people play in this

seeing the usual bull shit blame going on without a lot of "deepthinking" lol
