Stupid CNN Poll!
http://www.cnn.com/

Have the prisoner abuse allegations changed your view of the Iraq war?

Yes 31% 36034 votes
No 69% 82035 votes

How the hell do you even answer something like this? This is why polls are so useless. It is designed so narrowly that there's no way to know what it means. My opposition to the war was pretty solid both before and after the "abuse" photos. So does that mean that I'm answering the same way as these Nazi apologists (e.g. Rush)?

Their careful wording is no accident..Karl probably sends them
the questions..

These are just ways to spin whatever they want the answer to be..

1. No, it's a very clever poll
Very clever. A nice variation of the standard wife beating question.

2. Good point.
I'm voting yes anyway; I think I'm turning into some kind of troll or whatever the opposite of a freeper is.

3. Stupid + Online Poll = Oxymoron
CNN does seem to have a infatuation with "Yes/No" polls.

It would seem a better poll would be:

Have the prisoner abuse allegations changed your view of the Iraq war?

Pro Iraq Invasion - Unchanged
Pro Iraq Invasion - Changed
Against Iraq Invasion - Unchanged
Against Iraq Invasion - Changed

4. on the brighter side,
It could be that those who answered "Yes" have moved from support to opposition. I certainly can't imagine anyone increasing their support because of the torture

5. Like most things CNN
Remember the headline:

POLL: Iraqis think the war was more trouble than it's worth but worth it

WTF does that mean?

7. Analysis Of Stupid Answers
Yes = "It's changed my view... I previously supported the war, but now I don't."

Yes = "It's changed my view... I never supported the war, but now I support it even less."

Yes = "It's changed my view... but not about the war itself, only those who planned and executed the war."

Yes = "It's changed my view... but not about the war itself, only those who planned and executed the war. I still support the war, by the way."

Yes = "It's changed my view... but not about the war itself, only those who planned and executed the war. I still think the war was a mistake, by the way."

No = "It hasn't changed my view... I supported the war then, and I support it now. God Bless America!"

No = "It hasn't changed my view... I never supported the war, and there's nothing that could make me 'not-support' the war with any greater degree of intensity! God Help Us All!"

I could continue. (But I won't.)
Add your examples here......
