From another post re the MP "having sex" with the female prisoner"...which sadly confirms for me why progressives have lost ground when it comes for standing for anything. I would have thought I'd see this on a freep site or some site where men who hate women can justify anything...but not here:

According to you, and a number of other posters, a female prisoner could never be having sex with a guard because she wants comforting -- a prisoner looking to be comforted? -- or because she is just plain horny.

Or do you believe that women don't get aroused? They only fake it to get a ring on their finger?

Or worse yet, do you believe that women can get aroused, but only after a suitable courtship? And if so, how do you explain male strippers?


All that being said, if I felt there was a chance in heck of our finding out the truth, I would bet this was a case of rape. Instead, I'll bet we never find out with any surety.

the pics circulating here a few weeks ago of men raping women could not possibly be our soldiers. The reasons given included 1) they had on black shoes and green (non-desert) camo, and 2) the pics were on a "rape-niche" porno site.

1. There is a pic on GD right now that shows the first court-martial guy in the prison abuse standing over naked Iraqi's with black shoes on and a MI guy standing near him is outfitted in green camo.

2. Just because something is on a porno site, doesn't mean these women are actresses and it is "staged." Maybe they weren't our soldiers in the porno, but how would you know if it was a real rape or not?

What is underlying the tendency in some, to refuse to believe that? What causes some (otherwise seemingly progressive types, much less their FREEPER counterpars) to prefer to come up with some kind of ridiculous scenario that excuses the behavior or somehow makes it the woman's fault.... Very few seem to have problems acknowledging that the sodomization and sexual intimidation/humiliation of male prisoners is RAPE/TORTURE, so why do some automatically look for reasons for why the sexual torture of the women is NOT?

If those rape pictures were real, the guys in them were probably mercs, who could have been wearing anything. Mercs don't wear standard uniforms.
