You can rant and rave and curse those iraquis for killing americans but its not going to stop. We went over there to a war based on lies and the iraquis didnt roll over and play dead (neither did the vietnamese remember?)You can call them thugs terrorists criminals - they dont give a damm they are going to continue killing us till we leave.
As for kicking their butt if they continue killing americans we have been trying to kick butt since this cretin we call president told us mission accomplished.
People who enter the military are trained to kill or be killed so stop whining about american boys. You are proud when you see them in their smart uniforms but things suddenly taste sour when they do what they are paid to do.
Everytime we kill people, the families and their kin become our most bitter enemies, now easy prey for recruitment by al quaida etc...
As for our "american values", kindly remember that we are a violent society who see nothing wrong with spending countless billions of dollars on weapons (which dont seem to do much good against someone loaded with explosives who walks into a crowded supermarket but whine and moan when the poor need help. Besides, after the scenes of torture done by "nice american xtian boys who would never do such a thing on their own", on top of our already poor record of persecution of minorities and blacks (guess which inmates outnumber the white rich in prisons 100000000000 to 1?)

... one thing I've noticed is that if you throw a FACT at them that doesn't gibe with their world-view , they'll just deny it. Last week, I was arguing with this fanatic in a bar about Peak Oil, and I was quoting oil reserve estimates from around the world (OK, I'm wierd but I find it interesting). He consistently refused to believe the numbers - saying outrageous shit like Russia and ANWR have the same amount as Saudi Arabia, in defiance of even the oil companies estimates.

I've heard a bunch of other examples as well - they just have a way of looking at things, and they don't want reality intruding at inconvenient moments.
