Poll question: Nader v. Lieberman
Nader lives in Connecticut. If he ran against Lieberman in 2006, for whom would you vote? Let's pretend will all moved to Connecticut for the sake of this question

1. Why don't we all pitch in...
And donate to whomever is running against Lieberman. He is such a disgrace to our party. If there is going to be a repug in the senate, it mind as well be one that calls himself one.

2. Lieberman would NEVER get my vote.
He adopts the neo-con/Republican policy on EVERYTHING related to foreign policy, it seems.

Just today, he was whining that the Abu Ghraib investigation should be done as quickly as possible to that "we" (I suppose Joe is on the front lines of this war?) could go right back to fighting the 'war on terror' in Iraq.

Hell, voting for Nader would actually mean something, and if Joe was replaced by a Republican it wouldn't make much of a difference at all.

3. I'll take Lieberman,
not that I live in Connecticut or anything. I don't trust Nader, so I'll take the devil I know.

5. When you have a tumor like Lieberman on your back...
sometimes you just have to cut it off and try again!

4. I hope he gets challenged in 2006, but...
I don't see any of our state Democrats as being ballsy enough to challenge Lieberman. If they have trouble coming out and criticizing a criminal & wife beater like Rowland, do you think they'll challenge Lieberman?

But, both Nader & Lieberman are getting on in years. I would love to see Blumenthal or DeLauro running for Senate so we can have some young blood in there.
