1. My NPR is airing the Senate Armed Services Hearings. Why are none
of the news stations or CSPAN showing the afternoon hearing?

3. Just caught some of it in the car
As Randi Rhodes would say: DAyaM!

Brought up the hearing this morning where the Generals testifying before the committee couldn't find the contracting authority for the contract interrogators in the Iraqi prison. They have no clue who is administering the contract but did note that the contractor thought the military was responsible for vetting the employees AND issuing security clearances Hence, there were unqualified and unsecured persons working the prison.

Also brought up the problem with Dyncorp in Kosovo...the whole bit rapes, slavery etc. Said that there is a gap so that neither military nor Justice Dept had jurisdiction over the contractors. So the guy who even admitted rape, went totally unprosecuted.

DAYAM!
