Frag Order?
What is this? That's been discussed on the Senate Armed Forces hearings today...and it seems that's the inflection point for the breakdown in command and confusion about where Intel ended and the MPs began.

Any info would be appreciated

1. A frag order is...
...a fragment of the operation order. Yo only need to know your fragment of the operation.

2. Doesn't fragging also refer to ...
...a practice commonplace in Vietnam when infantry soldiers would try to kill senior officers?

3.  A frag order has nothing to do with killing your own officers

4. Right.
It was just co-opted as a term, right?

Just trying to clear up some confusion among some friends who are wondering how the two meanings came to be associated with one word.

8. The one they are talking about is on November 19, 2003
and the MI guys are trying to push prior offenses onto the MP's.

My surmise is that the co-opting of the MP guards by MI was going on for weeks or months before Nov 19, leading to bitching about who is boss, leading to the FRAGO to formalize what was already de facto.
